Ring Out For Life

On December 8th , the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, our parish Sacred Heart of Jesus, will join nine parishes in the Northern Morris County Deanery of the Paterson Diocese by participating in a joint prayer of unity to ask Our Mother, the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States, to call to the attention of the nation ”the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death " a most essential teaching of our faith as we "ring out for life ."

On December 8th Sacred Heart of Jesus will ring the church bells for one (1) minute at exactly 3:00 PM.  Additionally, we are asking all of our parishioners to stop what they are doing and pray one "Hail Mary" upon either hearing the bells ring or at 3 PM, and that time ask Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception for her intercession for "universal recognition of the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
